Crash That Snarled Hartford Highway Traffic Cleared: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was slowed Thursday afternoon on Interstate 84 in Hartford due to a single vehicle crash, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it was quickly cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 east between exits 44 and 46 and, as a result, the center lane was closed.

The crash was first reported at 3:53 p.m., but it was no longer on the DOT's incident list by 4:09 p.m.
