Creative Cocktail Hour (CCH)

Real Art Ways presents its monthly social event, CCH on Thursday, February 15, 6-10pm. CCH is a social that includes music, performance, visual arts, and community activities. Everyone is welcome. Held on the third Thursday of every month at Real Art Ways. 56 Arbor Street, Hartford, Connecticut.

In February, CCH will feature a creative mix of music, performances, artists and exhibitions, and things to do!

Visitors can experience three exhibitions in Real Art Ways' galleries:
Soft Opening: No Bodies: Clothing as Disruptor
Get a sneak peak into the new group show curated by Alva Greenberg that features works from over 25 artists spanning three gallery spaces. The artists in this exhibition use clothing to play with assumptions of materiality, cultural identity, relationships, and political issues. Some of the clothing is blown up, blown apart or minimized. Some takes clothing and transforms it completely.
Meaningful Adjacencies by RJ LaRussa: Videos that specialize in story-focused projects across narrative, music video, and commercial work.
Unknown, Unknowns by Steven DiGiovanni: Paintings based on DiGiovanni's photographs of his neighborhood growing up in Westville, New Haven and forensic photographs taken in Tokyo, Japan.

Hands-on art making activities led by Real Art Ways staff.

Tickets for Creative Cocktail Hour are $15 general admission, free for Real Art Ways members. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
