Criminal Probe Prompts Hartford Schools Administrator Eduardo Genao to Resign
He served as executive director for compliance.

HARTFORD, CT - Eduardo Genao, the Hartford School District's executive director for compliance, abruptly resigned from his post Tuesday as it became known that local police are investigating him for an undisclosed case.
Details of the investigation and when it began are not immediately known, but school district spokesperson Pedro Zayas told NBC Connecticut News that education officials are cooperating with the inquiry.
Additionally, Zayas - hinting that the investigation may be criminal in nature - told the Hartford Courant that the alleged victim of the incident is not a fellow school district official, nor is it a student.
