Celebrating Excellence in the Arts: 2024 Governor’s Arts Awards to Honor Visionary Creatives in Connecticut


Hartford, CT – The Connecticut Arts Council is thrilled to announce the 2024 Governor’s Arts Awards, a night dedicated to celebrating the outstanding contributions of Connecticut’s artistic visionaries. This year’s honorees represent the pinnacle of creative achievement in our state and will be recognized in a special ceremony on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm EST at the 5 Points Arts Center in Torrington, CT.

The evening promises an engaging experience that will spotlight the honorees through an innovative use of the 5 Points Arts Center’s expansive facility. The format will include a brief awards presentation, followed by a dynamic evening of socializing, with an open bar and catered offerings. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore different parts of the center, where each honoree’s work will be showcased through large-format print displays, creating an immersive and inspiring atmosphere.
