Developer Plans Massive East Hartford Logistics Facilities
A company anticipates it will hire 2,000 workers in East Hartford.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — National Development, a Massachusetts-based company, has proposed a four-building manufacturing, research and development, and logistics hub near Rentschler Field, which is expected to create 2,000 jobs and generate about $4 million in annual tax revenue, according to The Hartford Business Journal.
Jet engine maker Pratt & Whitney sold a 300-acre former airfield to the company in November. National Development's project will include two flex manufacturing facilities built near the existing Cabelas store.
