Dog Found Frozen to Death in Hartford Yard

An investigation is expected to lead to criminal charges against the owner, according to police.

HARTFORD, CT — A dog was found frozen to death in the back yard of a home on Adams Street Monday, and police have initiated a criminal investigation.

The dead dog was spotted behind 108 Adams Street by a citizen, who called police.

Animal cruelty charges are expected to be filed against the owner of the canine, according to police.
