Driver Slams Into Hartford Grocery Several Times

The store owners told a local television station they believe the act was intentional.

HARTFORD, CT — A sport utility vehicle crashed into the side of a Main Street grocery store Monday morning. Owners of the business, Lillian's Grocery, say the act was intentional in light of surveillance video that shows the SUV striking the building multiple times.

The owners told WFSB-TV their video shows a Chevrolet Tahoe striking the side of the building at 2543 Main Street four times. The driver abandoned the SUV, which was still partially inside the building, and fled on foot. A Hartford Police Department canine team is searching for him.
