HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Police Department announced it will conduct an operating under the influence (OUI) enforcement checkpoint on Thursday, April 9, as part of an effort to deter impaired driving.
The checkpoint is scheduled to run from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, April 10, in the vicinity of 1888 Main St., according to the department’s Traffic Division.
Police said the initiative is funded through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s OUI Enforcement Program and is intended to improve roadway safety.
