Dump Truck Crash Cleared On East Hartford Highway: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on a state highway in East Hartford was slowed after a dump truck crash late Friday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

According to the DOT, the accident was on Route 2 West between exits 5D and 5A, resulting in the closure of the right lane.

The accident was first reported at 11:10 a.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
