Dump Truck Wreck Cleared On I-91 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A dump truck crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford caused traffic issues for motorists Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-91 South between exits 34 and 33, resulting in the closure of the right shoulder.

During a DOT update at 3:46 p.m., it was reported that traffic was backed up about a mile in the area of the incident.

The crash was first reported at 3:20 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
