East Hartford Man Charged With Production Of Child Pornography

An East Hartford man is facing charges that he sexually assaulted a young girl, according to prosecutors.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford man is facing charges on accusations that he sexually assaulted a child, according to a statement for federal prosecutors. Saeed Mustapha Moussa, 30, has been charged with one count of production of child pornography, which carries a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 15 years and a maximum term of imprisonment of 30 years, and one count of possession of child pornography, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years.

Moussa has been detained since his arrest Oct. 27.

According to prosecutors, East Hartford Police received a report in September that Moussa’s cell phone contained videos of him engaging in sexual activity with a young child.

Police searched Moussa’s residence and seized his cell phone, computer equipment, and computer storage media.

Investigators also executed a search warrant on Google for the contents of Moussa’s Google Photos account.

Moussa’s Google Photos account contained videos of him sexually assaulting a girl who was about eight years old at the time the videos were taken, according to prosecutors.
