East Hartford Man Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Charge: Feds
A man last residing in East Hartford pleaded guilty to charges to he recorded himself sexually assaulting a child, according to prosecutors.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A former East Hartford man has pleaded guilty to charges that he made cell phone videos of himself sexually assaulting a child, according to a statement from Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Saeed Mustapha Moussa, 31, a citizen of Ghana last residing in East Hartford, pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography.
The crime carries a mandatory minimum prison term of 15 years and a maximum prison term of 30 years.
According to prosecutors, in September 2020, East Hartford Police received a report that Moussa's cell phone contained videos of Moussa engaging in sexual activity with a young child.

East Hartford Police conducted a court-authorized search of Moussa's residence and seized Moussa's cellphone, computer equipment, and computer storage media.
Investigators also executed a search warrant on Google for the contents of Moussa's Google Photos account. The cell phone and Google Photos account contained videos, taken between 2018 and 2020, of Moussa sexually assaulting a girl who was born in 2012, according to prosecutors.

Moussa has been detained since his arrest Oct. 27. He is scheduled for sentencing Feb. 7.
