Dionte Wilson has pleaded guilty to federal gun charges.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford man recently pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to prosecutors. Dionte Wilson, 25, was previously convicted on drug and gun offenses.

Prosecutors claimed that Wilson law enforcement reviewed videos on social media websites identifying Wilson being in possession of several guns. Members of an FBI task force then completed a controlled purchase of marijuana from Wilson.

He was arrested Aug. 10 after he showed a Taurus .380 caliber handgun during a controlled marijuana purchase. A search of Wilson’s home revealed a loaded .380 caliber Taurus gun magazine and approximately 100 rounds of .22 caliber long rifle hollow point bullets.
