East Hartford Schools Will Close Due To Coronavirus

EAST HARTFORD, CT — East Hartford Public Schools have become the latest to announce a closure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The district released the following statement:

We are writing tonight to inform you that in an effort to keep our students, faculty and community safe, East Hartford Public Schools will be closed tomorrow 3/13/20 and remain closed through at least 3/27/20. We have made this decision with guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, (DEMHS), the State Department of Education and the Town Health Department.
