East Hartford Woman Stabbed To Death: EHPD
The woman's body was found in a home on Sunday morning in East Hartford.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — Local police Tuesday said an East Hartford woman was stabbed to death after being found Sunday morning and they're looking for the public's help.
East Hartford police identified the victim as being 51-year-old Andra Elizabeth Valcinord of East Hartford.
According to the EHPD, at about 6:30 a.m., police were sent to 10 Martin Circle to conduct a welfare check at that home.

"Upon entering the home, police located a female who was unresponsive and pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics," police said in a statement issued Tuesday.
Police said the victim had multiple stab wounds which caused her fatal injuries.

"Investigators and detectives have been working around the clock collecting physical evidence and pursuing leads," the EHPD said. "The investigation remains very active.
Police said while no arrest has been made yet, there is no immediate threat to the public.
