Ex-School Employee Charged With Sexual Assault In Hartford: Reports
The 37-year-old Manchester resident is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a student, including in his office.
HARTFORD, CT — An ex-high school guidance counselor in Hartford has been charged with sexual assault against a student and will appear in court early next month.
WVIT Channel 30, citing the Hartford Police Department, is reporting the suspect as being Manchester resident Bryan Bass, 37,
According to WVIT, the police arrest warrant accuses Bass of having sexual contact with a student, including in his office.

Bass was taken into custody on Jan. 11 and police were initially called to Weaver High School in Hartford on June 6, 2023, according to Fox 61.
According to online court records, Bass was released on a combined $100,000 bond and has been charged with four counts of sexual assault: three counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.

Those charges relate to a school employee engaging in sexual acts with a student, according to online court records.
Bass is expected in Hartford Superior Court on Feb. 6 for all of the charges.
