FedEx To Hire 1,300 Workers In Hartford Area

HARTFORD, CT — FedEx Ground is hiring more than 1,300 people for seasonal positions at facilities in the Hartford area, The Hartford Business Journal reported. The hires are part of a plan to bring in more than 70,000 part-time workers for the holiday season.

Some of those seasonal hires may have the option of working full-time, according to The Hartford Business Journal.

The news comes as overall unemployment in the state remains 7 percent down from the same period last year.
