Flipped Vehicle In Hartford Cleared: Update

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on Interstate 84 in Hartford was slowed following a single-vehicle accident featuring an overturned vehicle, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reported a 2.7-mile backup between exits 44 and 49 on I-84 east due to the crash, which happened between exits 48 and 49.

Because of the accident, the three right lanes of the interstate were closed, according to the DOT.

The accident was reported at 6:46 a.m. and it was reported "cleared" by 7:56 a.m., according to the DOT.
