Yoga In Our City strives to improve the mental and physical wellness of residents across Connecticut by offering free yoga classes that are inclusive and accessible to everyone of all ages and ability levels.

The seasonal program offers over 700 classes in six cities — Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven, New London, Waterbury and Willimantic (Windham).

Last year, Yoga In Our City held over 600 classes and reached more than 15,000 individuals.

With the support of Sustainable CT, the funds raised will allow Yoga In Our City to further expand its reach to more cities across Connecticut, supporting its mission to boost public health.

“Wellness should not be a luxury. Every person, every family, deserves opportunities to improve their mental and physical health in a way that is accessible, convenient, and sustainable,” said Thomas Clynch, founder of Yoga In Our City. “Regardless of your age or skill level, Yoga In Our City is designed for everyone to have a positive and transformative experience.”

"We’re thrilled to support an organization like Yoga In Our City that puts residents at the forefront of creating positive, impactful change in our communities," said Joseph Dickerson, community organizer, and partnership manager, Sustainable CT.
