April 6, 2021

The 2021 Harc Walk n’ Roll will be held in person on Saturday, May 8, from 10 am to noon at Dunkin Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Harc will follow strict protocols for social distancing and safety at the event. All attendees must wear masks and keep a six-foot distance from each other. Staggered ticket entry times are also in place to prevent large clusters of people from trying to enter the park at the same time.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to hold the walk in-person this year at the Yard Goats Stadium! This event gathers people of all abilities for a morning of walking and a variety of activities, and it is free to attend for all,” said Lori Gailey, Vice President of Events and Merchandising.

There is a hybrid version of the walk to accommodate people not ready to be part of a crowd. Individuals and teams can plan their personalized walks at the locations of their choice. Personalized walks must be complete by May 8th.

This year Harc celebrates its 70th anniversary, and they will be honoring their Founding Families at the walk. Meteorologist Joe Furey is the Master of Ceremonies.

Those who plan to come to the in-person event must reserve their tickets in advance. People choosing a personalized walk do not need to reserve tickets.

Harc hopes to surpass last year’s funds raised with a goal of $30,000 for the 2021 walk. All proceeds benefit Harc’s programs. To learn more, visit www.harc-ct.org.
