Hartford Ballpark Voted Best in America
Fans voted Dunkin' Donuts Park the top Double-A baseball stadium in the country.

HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Yard Goats baseball club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has been informed by Ballpark Digest that Dunkin’ Donuts Park has been selected as the “Best Double-A ballpark in America.”
Online voting began on May 30 and ended at noon Monday, with the Yard Goats' home ballpark edging out the Altoona Curve’s home ballpark in the championship round. The bracketed online competition at ballparkdigest.com saw over 178,000 fans vote on their favorite MiLB ballparks over a three week period.
The Yard Goats moved into their new home this season and have played in front of capacity crowds 15 times. This past weekend, 19,956 fans watched the Yard Goats in Hartford and Dunkin’ Donuts Park has been sold out completely in each of the last three weekends (Friday through Sunday) and filled to capacity in 11 of the past 17 home games.

This is such a wonderful honor and we have been completely overjoyed by the outstanding fan support at our games in Hartford this season.”
Dunkin’ Donuts Park competed against the 30 Double-A clubs spread across the country in the Eastern League, Texas League and Southern League. The Yard Goats defeated the Bowie Baysox (Eastern League) in the first round, Biloxi Shuckers (Southern League) in the second round, Akron RubberDucks (Eastern League) in the Elite 8 and Richmond Flying Squirrels (Eastern League) in the Final Four to advance to the championship round against Altoona (Eastern League).

The Yard Goats begin a two-city, six-game road trip tomorrow night in Richmond, Va. and will return to Dunkin’ Donuts Park next Monday, June 26 to start a homestand against the New York Mets affiliate, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for all home games may be purchased by calling the Yard Goats at 860-246-GOAT (4628), online at www.yardgoatsbaseball.com, or in person by visiting the Click It or Ticket Box Office at Dunkin’ Donuts Park.
