Hartford Courant To Outsource Newspaper Printing
The Hartford Courant will now be printed in Springfield.

HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Courant will now be printed in Springfield instead of Hartford. The shift will not affect distribution or circulation of the newspaper, according to The Hartford Courant.
The printing move will result in the elimination of an undisclosed number of jobs.
The Springfield Republican will take over printing of the newspaper, which is owned by Chicago-based Tribune Publishing.
