Hartford Crash Causes Mess On I-84

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on Interstate 84 in Hartford is tied up after three-vehicle accident on the highway Monday afternoon.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-84 westbound between exits 50 and 48.

DOT officials said the left lane is closed as a result of the crash, which was reported at 3:44 p.m. Monday.

According to the state, it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
