HARTFORD, CT — A New York developer has plans to develop a historic fire station into a mixed-use apartment project, The Hartford Business Journal reported. Wonder Works, which has 560 housing units in Hartford, has been selected as the developer for the site at 275 Pearl St.
The company plans to construct 40 apartments in the three-story building along with a 4,000-square-foot restaurant on the fire station's first floor. A deal on the project, which is anticipated to cost $9.5 million, is expected to be completed in the next two or three weeks.
