Hartford Firefighters Battle Blaze on Babcock Street
The two-alarm fire broke out around 1:15 Tuesday morning.

HARTFORD, CT — A two-alarm fire broke out early Tuesday morning in the Frog Hollow section of the city.
The fire at 159-161 Babcock Street was reported at 1:17 a.m.
The initial responders "reported heavy fire blowing out of the second and third floor windows and porches," according to the Hartford Fire Department Facebook page.

Firefighters "went to defensive operations from the onset," the HFD reported.
