Hartford Firefighters Contain Parkville Fire Sunday: HFD

Hartford crews quickly contained the fire at a 2.5-story residence.

HARTFORD, CT — Firefighters in Hartford contained a blaze Sunday afternoon at a multi-family home on Hazel Street in the city’s Parkville neighborhood, limiting damage to a single room and reporting no injuries.

The American Red Cross said Monday it is helping two families – five adults and four children — after a fire Sunday on Hazel Street, Hartford.

The Hartford Fire Department said crews were dispatched at 1:28 p.m. to a reported fire at a 2.5-story residence.

The fire was located on the third floor, where firefighters used a single hose line to bring it under control.

Officials said the fire was confined to one room, preventing it from spreading further داخل the building. Primary and secondary searches found no occupants inside.

No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.

The Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

Fire officials said the department’s Special Services Unit is working with the American Red Cross to assist residents affected by the incident.
