HARTFORD, CT — City police Thursday morning are searching for a 16-year-old girl reported missing earlier in the day.

According to a Silver Alert issued at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, Hartford police are looking for Lyliana Montanez, 16, who is described as a white female with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 4-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 100 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a black and brown, tie-dyed hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers, according to police.

Anyone with information on Montanez's whereabouts is asked to call the Hartford Police Department at 869-757-4000.
