Hartford HealthCare to Host Purple Light 5K at Institute of Living
Proceeds benefit psychiatric patients in the Behavioral Health Network

The Hartford HealthCare Behavioral Health Network Purple Light Project is holding its 2nd Annual 5K Race and Fun Walk on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Institute of Living Campus, 200 Retreat Ave., Hartford.
Participants can either run or walk the course, which will be professionally timed. Registration will start at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. race start time. The cost is $40 Adults (18 & Over); $20 Children (17 & Under), Single Circuit Fun Run (10 & Under) is FREE.
Awards will be given for top male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-45, 46-59, 60-69 & 70 & up, and for Single Circuit Fun Run participation. The event is subject to the State of Connecticut restrictions and Hartford HealthCare COVID-19 protocols.

All proceeds benefit the Purple Light Project, which supports our psychiatric patients in Hartford HealthCare’s (HHC) Behavioral Health Network (BHN).
