Hartford Hosting Two Major Farmers Markets On Tuesday
Connecticut's capital city on Tuesday is home to the Old State House Farmers Market as well as the West End Farmers Market.
HARTFORD, CT — Connecticut's capital city is a perfect place to enjoy the country charm of a farmers market, with two of them planned on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
• From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Old State House Farmers Market will take place near the downtown Hartford landmark at 800 Main St., Hartford.
It will feature all sorts of locally grown food, and produce along with locally produced food items, among other wares for sale.

Another market takes place there on Fridays as well, with the next one after that taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, with live music also on the docket.
• Later in the day, another Hartford neighborhood will host a farmers market of its own with the West End Farmers Market slated to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.
