Hartford Man Charged After Robbery

He was federally indicted on several offenses.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man was indicted on federal offenses related to a May 2018 robbery in the city, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.

Randy Parkman, 41, shot and seriously wounded a victim during a Wethersfield Avenue robbery May 22, according to the indictment. A location was being used as a "trap house" by a drug trafficking organization.

Parkman was arrested in October and law enforcement found a .44 caliber revolver which had been reported stolen from a motor vehicle in Hartford during August 2018.

Parkman is charged with one count of interference with commerce by robbery, possession and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
