Hartford Man Dealt Crack, Heroin, Fentanyl: Feds
An alleged drug dealer was sentenced in federal court.
HARTFORD, CT — A city man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for multiple drug dealing offenses, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Stanley Reddick, 35, will also serve four years of supervised release.
Evidence introduced during the trial showed that on two occasions in April 2017, investigators made controlled purchases of a total of approximately 110 grams of crack cocaine from Reddick, according to the statement.
Reddick was arrested on May 3, 2017 and authorities conducted a search of his residence and his person, which revealed approximately 32 grams of crack, 42 grams of heroin, nine grams of a mixture of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine, and items used to process and package narcotics for street sale.

Investigators also found a key to an inoperative vehicle that was parked behind the residence, a subsequent search of which revealed a 9mm firearm and approximately 28 grams of fentanyl.
Reddick was found guilty in January 2018 of two counts of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of 28 grams or more of cocaine base (“crack”), one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin, one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, and one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, according to the statement.

The jury found Reddick not guilty of one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Reddick has been detained since his arrest.
This matter was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Hartford Police Department’s Focused Violence Reduction Team. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Marc H. Silverman and Michael J. Gustafson.
