Hartford Man Gets 5 Years On Drug Charges
Yasil Santos was sentenced recently in federal court.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man was sentenced to five years in prison for dealing fentanyl and crack, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Yasil Santos, aka "Lilo," 25, will also serve four years of supervised release.
According the statement, Santos's prosecution was the result of an investigation by federal and local law enforcement into members and associates of the Latin Kings.
The investigation revealed that two Latin Kings members operated separate drug trafficking organizations that distributed fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

Nelson Ferry led one of the drug trafficking organizations. Santos helped Ferry process and package heroin and fentanyl at his East Hartford home. He also operated a trap house at 149 Wethersfield Ave. in Hartford as a distribution point for drug customers, according to the statement.
In 2018, Santos was arrested and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, 40 grams or more of fentanyl and 28 grams or more of cocaine base (“crack”).
