Hartford Man Indicted On Drug, Gun Charges: Feds
A Hartford man is facing drug and gun charges.
HARTFORD, CT — A grand jury has indicted a Hartford man on drug dealing and gun possession crimes, according to a statement from prosecutors. Michael Davis, 33, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base (“crack”) and MDMA (“ecstasy”), possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
He faces up to life in prison.
Davis pleaded not guilty to the charges Oct. 21.

According to prosecutors, Davis possessed crack cocaine and ecstasy that he intended to distribute, and a Remington Arms, model RP9, 9mm handgun.
Davis’s criminal history includes state felony convictions for gun and drug crimes.

The indictment also seeks forfeiture of the handgun and $1,020 seized from Davis at the time of his arrest.
