Hartford Man Returning To Prison On Drug-Dealing Charges: Feds

Michael Ledbetter was sentenced to federal prison for violating the terms of his release.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man has been sentenced to 27 months for dealing cocaine and marijuana while on supervised release from prison, according to a statement from Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Michael Ledbetter, 30, was previously sentenced to 15 months in prison in 2017, plus three years of supervised release, for possession of ammunition by a felon.

Ledbetter had been convicted in state court of six counts of accessory to first degree assault in 2014.

Ledbetter was released from federal prison in April 2018. While on federal supervised release, Ledbetter was arrested on state domestic violence charges and he failed multiple drug tests, according to the statement.
