Hartford Man Who Pointed Gun At Cops Makes Plea
It'll be his second federal conviction.
HARTFORD, CT — A man who pointed a gun at two undercover Hartford Police detectives pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.
The undercover officers were on Cabot Street June 4, 2018 when a man pointed a gun at their car. The two officers identified themselves and Enrique Luciano, 31, fled, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut.
He discarded his loaded 9mm Taurus handgun, which had an obliterated serial number.

Luciano has prior convictions in state court for drug offenses and a federal conviction for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. For the federal offense he was sentenced to 60 months in prison in 2010.
Luciano faces up to 10 years in prison for his new offense.
