Hartford Obituary: Dora Sevigny, 68

Condolences to her family and friends.

Dora Lee “Lee” (Ouellette) Sevigny, 68, of South Windsor, beloved wife of Daniel J. Sevigny for 48 years died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Lee was born in St. Johns Canada, the daughter of the late Arthur and Idessa (Campbell) Ouellette. Lee enjoyed camping, shopping, arts and crafts, trips to the casino, and especially her granddaughters. She was retired from the City of Hartford where she worked in the Town Clerk's office as an administrative assistant for 22 years.

In addition to her husband, Lee leaves behind her daughters; Christine Elizabeth Fyler and her husband Scott of Manchester, Nicole Danielle Cyr and her husband Louis of South Windsor; her brother, Arthur Ouellette Jr. of Vernon, and her sister Dawn Marie Lehninger and her husband Frank of Enfield; her cherished grand-daughters Ashley Lyn Madore and Kayla Lee Cyr, and her niece, Heather Lehninger of Ellington as well as many more loved nieces and nephews. Lee was pre-deceased by her nephew Skip.

Lee’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital Emergency Department for their compassionate, caring and diligent work during her final hours.

Lee’s family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home 419 Buckland Rd. South Windsor. Family and friends may gather on Monday, November 20 at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Rd. South Windsor. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
