Mary Bell Cumberbatch, 77, of Bartlett, TN, beloved wife of Marcus Cumberbatch passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, TN.
Born June 14, 1939 in Decatur County, GA daughter of the late Richard and Moddie Bell (Preston) Scott. She lived in Hartford and East Hartford before moving to Bartlett, TN after she retired. Before retiring, she was a nurse's aide for Hebrew Home and Hospital, West Hartford for 34 years.
Besides Marcus, her husband of 40 years, she is survived by her five children, Ronald Clayton, Sr., Iris Strange (James), Deborah Bell (Eddie), Vincent Blakely (Beverly), Casandra Clayton; three brothers, Aron Scott, Richard Scott, Jr., Charles Scott; five sisters, Barbara Preston, Betty McKenzie, Janet Scott McCray, Mary Jane Scott, Annie Jane Scott Travis; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends Friday, November 4, 2016 from 10-11 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield.
