Hartford Obituary - Shirley Ferguson, 90

Our loving mother, Shirley (Marcia) Ferguson, 90, longtime resident of Hartford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017. She will be remembered as a kind, caring and sweet woman who showed unconditional love to her family, who were the love of her life!

Shirley will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially by her cherished children and their families; sons, David and John Ferguson, daughter Carol Chamberlain and her husband Joel; grandchildren, Anthony Ferguson and his wife Suzie, Colin and Evan Chamberlain, Graham Chamberlain and his wife Samantha; great grandchildren, Anthony Jr. (AJ) and Cora Ferguson.

Arrangements for our mother have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Homes, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. There will a private burial in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill, where her family will lay this beautiful woman to rest.

The family would like to express their gratefulness to Hartford Healthcare Hospice, Dr. John Granquist and Dr. Kevin Dougherty. Their superior care and kindness will always be remembered.
