She was born September 7, 1927 in Deland, FL to the late Willie E. and Elizabeth R. Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memories son; Robert L. Gibson of Orlando, FL, daughter; Marilyn (Guy) Brown of Bloomfield, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Elijah Alexander.

Calling hour will be Thursday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to noon at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services (Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service), 94 Granby Street, Bloomfield. Funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Wood Cemetery, Windsor.
