Hartford Officer Injured During Traffic Stop: PD

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford police officer was injured during a traffic stop on Franklin Avenue Friday night, according to police.

The driver of the car that was pulled over fled and hit an occupied police car during the incident, according to NBC Connecticut. He was later captured after a foot chase, according to WTNH.

An officer who was next to the hit police cruiser was found on the ground and transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries, police said.
