September 11, 2020 the Hartford Court of Common Council continued their appreciation series by honoring Saint Francis Hospital. Saint Francis/Trinity Health of New England have been an invaluable regional partner providing both care and support for patients and their families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are grateful to the Hartford City Council for this generous recognition,” said Thomas Burke, BPharm, MBA, interim president, Saint Francis Hospital. “At Saint Francis Hospital, we pride ourselves on our ability to be a healing presence for our community. Since the onset of COVID-19, this work became more critical than ever, but is not possible without the unending support of our city and state leaders. We are proud to continue to serve our patients and community in an impactful, meaningful way during some of the most trying times in our history.”

Rosado.

“We have a responsibility to not only highlight the work of our community partners, but also to continue to educate the public on issues that are affecting them. We have made great progress in the fight against the coronavirus, but there is more work to do and we must continue to be vigilant to safeguard the health and well-being of our friends, neighbors, and family.”
