Hartford Opens Cooling Centers For Heat Wave
The City of Hartford opened up several cooling centers in the city, something that will especially be needed later in the week.
HARTFORD, CT — City officials announced the opening of several cooling centers throughout Hartford starting on Wednesday and lasting through the duration of the heatwave into the weekend.
They actually opened at 8 a.m. Wednesday and they will be open through 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to city officials.
In addition, the city is urging folks to drink water and avoid direct sunlight, checking in on vulerable loved ones due to the heat.

Cooling centers are at the following locations:
