Hartford Playground Destroyed In Suspected Arson Fire: Reports
A blaze at a playground Tuesday is suspected to be arson, according to reports.
HARTFORD, CT — A fire at a playground in Hartford is being investigated as arson, according to WTNH News-8. Firefighters responded to the Granby Street blaze at around noon Tuesday.
A large tire was on fire at Cronin Park and the flames spread to the playscape area. The playscape was heavily damaged, according to The Hartford Courant.
The fire was brought under control, and no injuries were reported.

Fire officials said the incident is suspected arson and is being investigated by the Fire Marshal's office. Police said they believe juveniles set the fire, WTNH News-8 reported.
Mayor Luke Bronin said the city is assessing the damage and plans to rebuild the playground.
