Hartford Police Investigate Non-Fatal Shooting Thursday Night: Police
. A man in his 20s was treated for injuries after being shot on Asylum Avenue.
HARTFORD, CT— The Hartford Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting reported Thursday night on Asylum Avenue.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 8:24 p.m. to an area hospital in Hartford after receiving a report of a walk-in gunshot victim, police said.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was treated for a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.

Authorities later determined the shooting occurred at 600 Asylum Ave.
Police said the department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded to the location and have taken over the investigation.
