Hartford Police Probe Shooting Overnight: Police

A male victim in his 30s was hospitalized as the investigation continues.

HARTFORD, CT — Police in Hartford are investigating a non-fatal shooting after a gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment, authorities said Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to Hartford Hospital, where they found a man in his 30s with a single gunshot wound.

The victim was alert and conscious upon police arrival, according to officials.

Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred in the area of 280 Sisson Ave., police said.
