Hartford Police Probe Weekend Shooting Of Man In His 20s: PD

The victim in Saturday's shooting was rushed to a nearby hospital.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a non-fatal shooting after officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 204 Vine St. over the weekend, authorities said early Saturday morning, May 2.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his twenties who had been struck by gunfire, according to the Hartford Police Department.

Police said the victim was alert and conscious and was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division have taken over the investigation. Officials described the case as active and ongoing.
