Hartford Police Seize Illegal Fireworks
Police are asking people to be respectful of their neighbors and pets.
HARTFORD, CT — Police reported that they made another firework seizure recently.
Illegal fireworks have been a problem across the state and country in recent weeks.
While some fireworks are legal in Connecticut, there are restrictions on use due to safety issues.

In 2010, there were three reported deaths and an estimated 8,600 hospital-treated-injuries related to fireworks in the United States, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
