Hartford Resident Graduates State Police Academy
A Hartford resident was among the recent Connecticut State Police academy graduates.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford resident was among 53 recent Connecticut State Police graduates. The 131st Training Troop started the academy in September and completed 1,400 hours of training.
New trooper Victoria Zimmitti of Hartford was assigned to Troop C in Tolland.
The class consisted of 38 men and 15 women, and more than half of the class holds a bachelor's degree or higher; 15 have military experience and 11 have prior law enforcement experience.

The academy class started remotely in September due to the pandemic, but switched to in-person on Oct. 10.
