Hartford Restaurants: Who's Closed, Who's Open For Take-Out

HARTFORD, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont has ordered all restaurants and bars to close in an effort to help contain the spread of the new coronavirus. Local eateries are allowed to afford delivery and takeout though.

In Hartford most but not all restaurants are offering delivery and takeout options.

Here is a roundup of some of the most prominent restaurants in town:

Salute Restaurant posted the following: "Due to the current situation with and information given to us by state local officials, we will be temporarily closed EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Further, we will not be offering take-out services or any type of delivery."

The Capital Grille posted the following: "For the well-being of our guests and team, our dining room is temporarily closed, but we are offering Takeout including Family-Style Dinner and Hand-Carved Steaks. Please call to place your order."

Firebox posted the following: "To our amazing guests, friends, and supporters, we have made the incredibly difficult decision, along with many of our restaurant peers across the country, to temporarily shut our doors so that we may act in the best interest of public health and safety. Please continue to support each other. Check back about our re-opening date and the plans we are making to celebrate together the best of Connecticut’s Spring harvest!"

Trumbull Kitchen posted the following: "We are here for our Hartford community! In addition to offering take out we also will be offering growler fills from 12-8! Some of our offerings tagged plus more!"

Bear's Smokehouse BBQ is offering takeout and online ordering along with deals on Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Black-Eyed Sally's posted the following: "Black-Eyed Sally's is open for takeout and delivery! Click here to see our menu: https://www.blackeyedsallys.com/menu/ 12-2 pm and 5- 8 pm daily.
