Hartford School Nurse On Leave Due To LGBTQ Comments: Reports
A Hartford public school nurse is on leave after she allegedly revealed personal details about a student in a social media group.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford public school nurse has been placed on leave due to allegations that she posted inappropriate comments about Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning students on social media, according to NBC CT. Superintendent Leslie Torres-Rodriguez sent a letter to the school community Monday regarding the comments, stating "the values they express are totally inconsistent with what we stand for."
Torres-Rodriguez said that the district is taking the matter very seriously, according to NBC CT. "It is unacceptable for any member of our community to make any student feel unwelcome," she wrote.
Torres-Rodriguez said that the nurse shared private and personal details about a specific student in a Facebook group, FOX 61 reported.
